Παίρνοντας, για μία ακόμη φορά, θέση στο Εκκλησιαστικό Ζήτημα της Ουκρανίας (με ποιο δικαίωμα αλήθεια; Η Ουκρανία είναι ανεξάρτητο κράτος και όχι μέρος της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας!) και επαναλαμβάνοντας τις συνήθεις συκοφαντίες και απαξιωτικές αναφορές προς τον Οικουμενικό Πατριάρχη Βαρθολομαίο.
Άξια ιδιαίτερης προσοχής, που γεννά πολλά ερωτηματικά για το ρόλο που παίζουν κάποιοι εκκλησιαστικοί παράγοντες της Εκκλησίας της Κύπρου και για τις ενδεχόμενες "δεσμεύσεις" τους έναντι της Μόσχας, είναι η κατηγορηματική αποστροφή του Λαβρόφ ότι υπάρχει "ήδη ένα σχίσμα στην Εκκλησία της Κύπρου"!!!...
Ενώ δεν μπορεί να μην επισημανθεί και η αποστροφή του ότι τάχα "ο Βαρθολομαίος εξαπάτησε την Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία της Ουκρανίας, κόβοντας τα δικαιώματα που της είχε υποσχεθεί"... Τι θυμίζει αυτό; Μα τις... ενστάσεις και τη ρητορική του γερο-Φιλάρετου, κάτι που πρέπει να λάβουν σοβαρά υπόψιν οι Ουκρανοί αδελφοί...
Τέλος, το θράσος του Λαβρόφ και εν γένει του Κρεμλίνου φτάνει στο αποκορύφωμά του όταν τολμά να αποφανθεί, ως... Οικουμενική Σύνοδος, για το ποια είναι η θέση του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχου στην Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία! Τι λέει ο προκλητικός Ρώσος Υπουργός Εξωτερικών; Ότι "υπάρχει ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης, ο οποίος μέχρι πρόσφατα ήταν σεβαστός ως ο πρώτος μεταξύ ίσων"!!! "Ως πρόσφατα"... Δηλαδή, ο Λαβρόφ αποφάσισε και διακήρυξε ότι ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης δεν είναι πλέον ο Πρώτος στην Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία! Προσέξτε. Δεν το αποφάσισε κάποια Οικουμενική Σύνοδος, αλλά ο Υπουργός Εξωτερικών ενός κράτους...
